The VW Arteon is a fashionable, high-performance full-size sedan that combines style, utility, and comfort. Its well-appointed interior and breadth of safety and technology options help make your driving experience an enjoyable one. With three trim levels to choose between, it’s important that you have an idea of what each offers to find the version of the Arteon that is best suited to your lifestyle.

SE R-Line

Powered by a 300-horsepower turbocharged 2L four-cylinder engine, the base-level SE R-Line trim offers a number of standard features that would normally be options on other vehicles. It has an adaptive suspension system designed to keep your ride smooth, LED headlights, heated and power-adjustable side-view mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The SE R-Line also offers leatherette upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated navigation, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. VW’s safety suite also comes standard, with lane-assist steering, emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot sensors, and front and rear parking sensors.

SEL R-Line

The SEL R-Line trim for the Arteon adds a few new features to what’s offered in the SE R-Line, but the most notable is the addition of AWD, which can help those who live in areas that receive harsher winters. With advanced traction control and dedicated wet and wintry drive modes, the SEL R-line is able to handle the elements with ease.

New additions include a 30-color ambient lighting system, a panoramic sunroof, power side mirrors, and a driver’s seat and mirror memory system that lets you save multiple configurations. Additionally, the interior of the SEL R-Line is outlined with black carbon fiber accents.

SEL Premium R-Line

The Premium R-Line is the height of luxury and offers features such as a massaging driver’s seat, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, automatic parking software, and heated rear seats that have their own dedicated control panel.

This trim comes with its own perforated leather upholstery for all seats, as well as a surround vision HD camera that allows you to see around the entirety of the Arteon, making it easier to navigate tight parking spaces. A full-sized spare tire is also conveniently located in a compartment in the trunk, helping to give you peace of mind and an easy fix if you run into a flat at any point.
